This ensures that individuals retain personal sovereignty, while also contributing to the collective advancement of the Empire.

1. Private Professional Role

Every citizen is trained through the Academy and develops a recognised profession.
This is their:

Source of income and enterprise

Area of personal mastery and growth
Citizens may:

Work within external systems (including current capitalist structures)

Build businesses
-
Practice their profession independently
This preserves freedom, adaptability, and real-world engagement.

2. Commissioned Professional Role
​
In addition to their private profession, citizens may be:

Assigned to a Department

Given a Commission
-
Placed on a Standby Commission
In this role, they serve the Empire directly.
This includes:

Administrative functions

Scientific and technological development

Health and longevity programs

Infrastructure and systems building

Education and training
This is their civil duty and contribution to the Empire’s growth.

3. Balance Between the Two
​
The system is designed so that:

Citizens are not dependent solely on the Empire for survival (early-stage resilience)

The Empire gradually builds the capacity to support its citizens internally
Over time, as the Vigorian Treasury and infrastructure grow:

The need for external dependence reduces

Contribution time at this point is purely voluntary. When the Vigorian Society advances, everyone will mutually agree on a time percentage in accordance with their entry into the meritocracy. Citizens will always retain the ability to transfer, move between and work in both worlds as they so wish.
As outlined at the beginning, the Vigorian Empire adopts an advanced, evidence-based approach to education and training. This system is designed in accordance with the best available scientific understanding of human development, ensuring that each citizen is supported to grow intellectually, physically, and psychologically to their highest potential.

The purpose of this framework is not only to prepare individuals to live and serve within Vigorian society, but also to equip them with the skills, resilience, and adaptability required to function effectively beyond it.

The Empire recognises that not all individuals will choose to remain within Vigorian civilisation.
As such, its responsibility is to provide every citizen with the strongest possible foundation, enabling them to thrive both within the Empire and in the wider world.

In doing so, the Vigorian educational system does not merely train citizens for service but prepares them for life itself. Inside our systems, and outside.

Enrolment into the online Vigorian Academy for learners aged 12–16 will be opening soon.
Programmes for younger age groups will follow in due course, as the Academy expands its educational framework.

We welcome qualified educators who wish to contribute their expertise to the development of Vigorian education. Due to the distinct and redesigned pedagogical approach of the Academy, all teaching staff are required to complete a compulsory training period. Vigorian instruction is delivered through a fundamentally different model, aligned with our evidence-based philosophy of human development.

Citizens within the Vigorian Empire are not bound to a single career path or life trajectory. At any stage of life, individuals may return to the Academy to retrain, develop new skills, or pursue new disciplines.

As longevity and health improve, later-life phases may include renewed periods of active contribution, allowing citizens to re-engage with higher levels of participation if they choose.
