TAXATION
We believe taxation belongs in the past. It was originally a tool for rulers to raise money for war. We are not at war, and we have no intention of ever going to war.
So that old model of taxation has no place in our society. What you earn through your own time, skills, labour, or products should never be stripped away by governments that act like parasites and then waste it anyway.
If we ever need to raise funds, we’ll do it openly, voluntarily, and only through what people genuinely choose to contribute.

We charge a simple, upfront fee for Lord, Lady, and Citizenship applications. This isn’t some hidden tax; it goes straight back into maintaining the website and keeping everything running smoothly for our citizens.
Voluntary Tax
If you want to support us, you can do so through a voluntary donation, our version of a voluntary tax. It can be anything from £10 to £100, or whatever you genuinely feel comfortable giving. There’s no pressure and no schedule. Give what you want, when you want.
We, and every Citizen, appreciate your support.
Your contribution goes far beyond “a project.” Every pound helps strengthen and expand the Vigorian community:
• We can acquire more freehold land, develop it, live on it, and build income-generating spaces that support everyone.
• We can invest in cruise-ship recycling and redevelopment, pushing forward the long-term vision of the Vigorian Empire.
• We can expand health mentorship, services, and education, giving Citizens the tools they need to thrive.
• We can offer more financial, legal, and practical support for Citizens navigating life in a parallel society.
• We can build real infrastructure that prepares our people for the future and whatever challenges come our way.
Charity starts at home. We strengthen ourselves first, because we’re no help to anyone while we’re weak. Once we’re solid, we lift others up with us.
Vision
We’re not naive; we know we live in a capitalist world, and we have to operate within it to survive. But our real goal is to build a meritocratic society that runs on universal basic income credits earned through the work we do for each other.

That frees Citizens up from the stress and anxiety of bill paying and taxes, to focus on what actually matters: serving others.
